Charles McPhee, a nationally syndicated talk radio host who began his show in Santa Barbara at KRUZ 103.3 FM and made a career analyzing the stuff of dreams, died last Sunday at his home in Woodland Hills from complications of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. He was 49.
