Etta James Hospitalized For Infection

RIVERSIDE -- Legendary singer Etta James was hospitalized earlier this week with infections of the blood and urinary tract, her son said Friday.
James, 73, was admitted to a Riverside hospital on Monday for sepsis.

She remained in the hospital Friday, her son Sarmento James told CNN.

She's doing a little bit better, but she's not out of the woods quite yet," he said.  James, best known for her 1961 hit "At Last," has been hospitalized several times since she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease in 2009
