Los Angeles Mayor Villaraigosa is asking the public for help spotting potholes in preparations for June's Operation Pothole project.
Villaraigosa seeks to fill as many as 20,000 potholes the weekend of June 4 and 5.
Residents can call the city's non-emergency service request hotline 3-1-1 seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. to report potholes. "The condition of our street network affects the quality of life for every Angelino," Villaraigosa said.
"With your help we will undoubtedly be able to exceed our goal."
The city fills an average of 250,000 potholes annually.
