The infamous "Bling Ring" burglaries that targeted celebrities like Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan and Orlando Bloom will soon be chronicled in a television movie
A representative for Lifetime tells TMZ that a made-for-tv movie called "Bling Ring" is in the works for later this summer.
The suspect's names will be changed for legal reasons, and 'Dirty Dancing' star Jennifer Grey has apparently signed on to play the mother of one of the defendants.
Nicholas Frank Prugo, Rachel Lee, Diana Tamayo, Courtney Ames, Alexis Neiers and Roy Lopez all initially pleaded not guilty in the case.
They're accused of stealing some $3 million worth of cash and jewelry from celebrities' homes in the Hollywood Hills from late 2008 to the summer of 2009.
Neiers eventually pleaded no contest and was sentenced to 180 days in jail. She spent 30 days behind bars and at one point, was incarcerated at the same time as one of her alleged victims, Lindsay Lohan.
Neiers later got a reality show on E! called "Pretty Wild."
