This remembrance ceremony is free for Veterans and service members, and just $5.00 for all others. There will be music and tributes and a barbecue at the adjacent Elks Lodge after the ceremony.

A wacky parade kicks off this free-wheeling celebration in the dusty hills of Topanga Canyon, this annual event showcases the best in local music and entertainment. There are activities for the kids, and arts and crafts for sale by local artisans. The food is also the best of local vendor cuisine. Parking lines Topanga Canyon Boulevard, so be careful when you walk to and from your car for those drivers careening around the turns.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the festival organized by undergrads at UCLA. They make their best effort to provide food and music from many different cultures, giving visitors a chance to experience something they’ve never seen, heard, or eaten before.

Westminster Memorial Park in Westminster has an annunal service @ 11pm. Dana Rohrbacher this year. Margie Rice, Westminster Mayor and free hot dogs for the families.
