Did Angus T. Jones push for Ashton Kutcher to replace Sheen?

Word has it that none other than young “Two and a Half Men” star Angus T. Jones was among those suggesting the casting of Ashton Kutcher as Charlie Sheen’s replacement on the upcoming season of the hit CBS sitcom.
Jones, 17, apparently long has been a Twitter and e-mail pal of Kutcher’s. He was very upset by the whole Sheen saga (“Charlie had become like a surrogate dad for him,” said a show source).

Look for the sitcom’s writers to “very carefully create a character for Ashton that will perfectly be matched to his personality, quick wit, charm and huge appeal to women,” said another “Men” insider.

“That approach clearly worked for Charlie, and they want a similar success with Ashton — though he will absolutely not be a clone of Charlie’s Charlie Harper character,” added the source.
