Former Queens of the Stone Age member Nick Oliveri found himself on the wrong side of a S.W.A.T. team last night. TMZ reports that police were called Oliveri's home after a neighbor called 911 about a disturbance.
Oliveri's girlfriend apparently told police that he hit her the day before and she had just come back to get her things and move out. That led to another heated argument, after which Oliveri locked himself inside the duplex.
When the police arrived, Oliveri refused to let them in, or let his girlfriend leave. A S.W.A.T. team was called in and after a two-hour stand-off, Nick relented. The cops found a fully loaded high-powered rifle in the home.
Oliveri was booked on felony domestic violence and was released after posting $100,000 bail.
