2 New Suspects Arrested In Bryan Stow Beating

Two new suspects were arrested Wednesday in the beating of a San Francisco Giants fan outside Dodger Stadium and the original suspect may well be exonerated, a law enforcement official told The Associated Press.

The arrest marks a dramatic turn in the case. Since Giovanni Ramirez was arrested May 22, police have consistently restated they believed they had their man.

Giants fan Bryan Stow was almost fatally beaten outside the stadium March 31. He remains in serious condition after suffering brain damage.

Ramirez, a convicted felon, is in prison in custody for a parole violation after police found a gun in the house he was staying at when he was arrested.
