Michael Todd, bass player for the band Coheed and Cambria, is officially OUT of the band ... following his arrest last month before a gig for armed robbery.
According to a statement on the bands website, "After a lot of thought, introspection and discussion, Coheed and Cambria will be continuing our journey without bassist Michael Todd."
"We have spoken to him and this is a mutual decision between both parties. Michael was a great contributor; our hearts go out to his family and to all those who appreciate his talents. We wish him nothing but the very best."
Todd was busted last month in Massachusetts after he gave a note to a Walgreen's pharmacist claiming he had a bomb and demanded oxycontin ... before fleeing back to the arena with six bottles of pills to open for Soundgarden.
