Former TV Guide Building Sold for $92 Million
6922 Hollywood Blvd., the building that once housed TV Guide, is selling for about $92 million in one of Hollywood’s most costly commercial real estate buys in years, according to the Holllywood Reporter.
The building -- once known as the TV Guide Hollywood Center -- is currently in escrow, with an expected closing date.
It's being sold by the CIM Group to West L.A.'s Hudson Pacific Properties, a commercial real-estate investment firm that is slowly building its reign of office spaces. The group scooped up the Sunset Gower Studios for over $200 million in 2007, as well as the Technicolor building next door, among others.
Located next to the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel and across from the Grauman’s Chinese Theater, the roughly 190,000-square-foot building is home to multiple entertainment and media firms.
