Sissy Spacek Gets ‘Walk Of Fame’ Star Monday


Actress Sissy Spacek will receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Monday.

Spacek's star will be unveiled at 11:30 a.m. in front of the El Capitan Theatre. Spacek is due to attend the ceremony on Hollywood Boulevard.

Spacek won the Academy Award for best actress for her role as country star Loretta Lynn in the 1980 film “Coal Miner’s Daughter.”

She has also received five other nominations in that category.

Her “Big Love” co-star, Bill Paxton, and director David Lynch are expected to attend.
